A milestone in our mission to bring advanced molecular diagnostics closer to patients and veterinary care.
Credo Diagnostics Biomedical received the Excellence in Diagnostic Innovation award at the MedTech World Asia Awards 2026, held on 26 August at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. The award brings international attention to Credo’s work in molecular diagnostics and marks an important milestone for our team, partners, and growing global community.
For Credo, this achievement has a clear connection to our everyday work: developing diagnostic solutions that make advanced molecular testing more accessible and practical. From simplifying testing workflows to expanding the range of disease targets, our focus is on bringing useful diagnostic information closer to where care decisions are made.
Turning innovation into practical diagnostic solutions
Making molecular diagnostics accessible requires attention to the entire testing process. Sample preparation, turnaround time, ease of operation, and the requirements of different care settings all influence how effectively a technology can be used.
These priorities guide the development of Credo’s portfolio across human and veterinary diagnostics:
- VitaPCR™ brings rapid real-time PCR testing to the point of care, delivering results in approximately 20 minutes with minimal hands-on preparation. Its assay menu addresses respiratory pathogens, including SARS-CoV-2, influenza, RSV, and Group A Streptococcus.
Explore VitaPCR™. - VitaSIRO solo™builds on this approach by integrating nucleic acid extraction and real-time PCR into an automated microfluidic cartridge workflow. Designed to detect multiple targets from a single sample, the platform supports the expansion of molecular testing into a broader range of diagnostic applications.
Explore VitaSIRO solo™. - QubeMDx+™ extends Credo’s molecular diagnostic capabilities to veterinary care. Its assay portfolio covers respiratory, gastrointestinal, blood-borne, vector-borne, and selected zoonotic pathogens, including canine distemper virus, canine parvovirus, feline herpesvirus, and Babesia species. This breadth brings molecular testing options closer to veterinary professionals caring for companion animals.

Expanding the range of diagnostic questions, we can address
Alongside platform innovation, Credo continues to broaden its assay portfolio and development pipeline.
In human diagnostics, this work spans respiratory infections, high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV), sexually transmitted infections, and selected genetic markers. Development areas for VitaSIRO solo™ also include hospital-associated pathogens such as Candida auris and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), as well as bacterial and viral gastrointestinal infections. These projects aim to extend the platform’s applications to a wider range of clinical needs.

Across these efforts, our direction remains consistent, combine broader testing capabilities with workflows that healthcare and veterinary professionals can use effectively in practice.
Building on this milestone
The award provides encouragement to continue investing in research, assay development, and collaboration with the professionals and partners who bring our technologies into everyday use. Their experience helps us understand testing needs and shape the next stages of our work.
We thank MedTech World Asia, the Awards Steering Committee, our partners, and everyone who supported Credo throughout the voting process. This achievement also belongs to our team, whose dedication, expertise, and shared purpose drive our progress.
As we build on this milestone, we remain guided by our mission to make Advanced Medical Technology for All a reality.
