The VitaSIRO solo™ C. auris Assay enables rapid real-time PCR detection of C. auris for research and surveillance applications. The assay incorporates an internal control to monitor assay performance and test validity, while utilizes lyophilized reagents to simplify storage and streamline the testing workflow.
Designed for swab specimens collected from the axilla, groin, and nasal sites using ESwab® collection and transport media. The assay delivers molecular results in approximately 40 minutes through a simple “sample in, result out” workflow. The rapid workflow is designed to support on-site research and surveillance activities, including studies of C. auris prevalence, distribution, and detection within healthcare environments.
