Current HPV testing methods rely on lab-based techniques that require specialized equipment, trained personnel, and hours to deliver results. These methods fall short of meeting the demand for rapid, convenient, and accessible testing in clinical settings. To meet the need for rapid and reliable HPV diagnostics, Credo Diagnostics Biomedical developed the VitaSIRO solo™ HPV Assay, a Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) solution that detects and differentiates high-risk HPV subtypes. Using three fluorescence channels, the assay identifies HPV16, HPV18/45, and 11 other high-risk subtypes with accuracy.
Designed for use with cervical swabs, the assay provides results in 45 minutes with a “sample in, result out” process. This fast diagnostic tool enables healthcare providers to quickly guide patient care, improving the management of HPV-related risks in time-sensitive situations.
